Pueblo restaurant gives back during COVID-19

PUEBLO — Three Margaritas in Pueblo is giving back to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The restaurant had a customer appreciation day Monday, where the owner gave away free meals to anyone looking for something to eat.

"The community is very important to (us to) make sure we are thriving," said Jessica Trujillo, a server at Three Margaritas. "And going forward, making sure we are trying to keep as much of a normal routine as possible. It is very important for us to show our community how appreciative we are of them."

Three Margaritas says it gave out more than 150 meals.
