PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department is looking for a suspect who beat a man so badly he had a broken jaw and blood in his ears early Saturday.

Police said they arrived to the 100 block of W. B St. on reports of a disturbance where people were threatening to shoot other people.

PPD said it looked like everyone left the scene, so they searched the area and that's when they found the victim near Victoria Avenue.

Police said the victim told officers he was "sucker punched" and did not know who did it.

The victim was taken to the hospital and later transported to a hospital in Colorado Springs to be treated.

Officers said they are continuing to investigate this incident and ask that anyone who might have information to call the department at (719) 553-2502.
