Pueblo Police looking for shooting suspect

PUEBLO — Pueblo Police are seeking the public's help in locating a shooting suspect.

Pueblo Police said they have an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Jason Martinez on the charge of Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

Police said Martinez is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5’4” with a thin build. He also has a tattoo over his right eyebrow that says "UNLV." He has a weapons history and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Martinez is believed to be somewhere in Southern Colorado, possibly with his girlfriend, 21-year-old, Marissa Marie Valdez, police said.

Valdez is described a Hispanic female, standing 5’6” and weighing130 lbs. She has brown hair and eyes. She also has a felony warrant for Identity Theft.
