PUEBLO — Pueblo Police Captain Tom Rummel tweeted that officers are searching for a man and a woman who robbed a convenience store early Friday morning.

Police said the two walked into the store just after 12:30 a.m., pulled out a large silver-colored pistol and asked for money before leaving in a black car. Police said they were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, knit hats and red bandanas. They also said the male suspect had a black backpack with green straps.

Hours later, police stopped a man and a woman outside of a different convenience store, but they determined they were not the suspects.
