PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department is warning the public about COVID-19 scams.
The departments says they plan to ramp up their awareness campaign on the issue for the next seven weeks.
Pueblo PD has seen an increase of scams online, on the phone and in-person and expect that to pick up with stimulus money being sent out over the next few weeks.
"If you have a gut feeling that something ain't right ask somebody inquire find out if it is legit or not," said Pueblo Police Sgt. Frank Ortega.
