PUEBLO — A historic Pueblo County park is celebrating a milestone.
Pueblo Mountain Park is turning 100 this year.
The park is in the small town of Beulah, about 25 miles west of Pueblo.
The city government bought the park in January 1920.
"It is extremely important for this county. It's rare for people to have --any municipality -- that kind of resource. It is a tremendous asset to the city of Pueblo," said Executive Director Patty Kester.
Several events are planned this year to celebrate the occasion.
Those details will be updated on the Nature and Wildlife Discovery website.
