PUEBLO — A man rolled a vehicle while "off-roading" Wednesday night, injuring two children he had in the car with him, according to the Pueblo Police Department.
The department said responding officers were sent to Highway 50 around 10:20 p.m. where they learned the rollover crash happened at Pueblo Motorsports Park. Police said the man and kids were being driven by another person when they stopped on Highway 50.
Officers said the man attempted to drive to the hospital with two "young children" with him, but he had to stop. The children were taken to the hospital by medics to be treated for their injuries.
One of the children had a broken arm, head injury and possible shoulder injury and the other had a broken nose.
The department said it is investigating the crash and also began a child abuse investigation.
