Pueblo hit-and-run suspect arrested

PUEBLO — The Pueblo Police Department has made an arrest in a hit-and-run Wednesday that left one person seriously injured.

Dennis Fidel Gonzales, 23, was arrested Thursday afternoon on an attempted murder charge and other felony warrants.

Detectives also located his vehicle, a black Ford truck, and are processing it for evidence.

Officers were called to the 1700 block of W. 27th Street around 1:15 Wednesday and found a 22-year-old man with life-threatening injuries lying in a yard.

The man was taken to the hospital. So far there is no update on his condition.
