PUEBLO — What an adorable story! A Pueblo Fire Engineer helped rescue a dog from a structure fire on Monday.
Fire Engineer Phil Chapin received a lot of thanks and kisses from one lucky pooch he helped rescue from the fire in the 900 block of Abriendo Avenue.
The Pueblo Fire Department said the pup was resuscitated with specialized equipment donated to the department by Southern Colorado Kennel Club.
What a happy ending to a sad story!
