PUEBLO — A family in Pueblo wants to spice up the night sky on Union Ave.
The Koncilja family is proposing building a 46-foot-tall neon chile pepper near City Center and Union. They also want to see gateway arches on both ends of Union that will light up the Union Ave. Bridge.
The family hopes this project can be completed with the $3 million that has been allotted for improvements on Union and Main St. from 1A funding that was approved back in 2016.
The family said they are going to do a little more planning before bringing a formal presentation to the city and county.
