Several agencies are searching for a 19-year-old teen from Texas who went missing Monday morning, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said family members of Samuel Greenwald told authorities he left at 11 a.m. to run on a trail to the top of Greenhorn Mountain but did not return.

Deputies said search teams have been looking for the 19-year-old since late Monday. They are asking the public to keep an eye out for Greenwald since the public cannot help in the search due to the terrain.

He is described as being 6-feet tall and weighs 155 pounds with short black hair and some facial hair. He was last seen wearing blue shorts, possibly a white t-shirt and black shoes, and had an orange backpack with black seams.

If you have any information on Greenwald, you are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (719) 583-6250.
