Alert deactivated for missing 81-year-old Pueblo woman

PUEBLO — UPDATE: An alert issued by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation was deactivated Friday morning for a missing 81-year-old Pueblo woman.

PREVIOUS: The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an alert Thursday evening for 81-year-old Arlene Carter (pictured above) who was last seen around 4:15 p.m. in the area of 34th Lane and Ford Road in Pueblo County.

The spokesperson with the sheriff's office said search efforts will continue Friday morning for Carter, who is described as being 5'1" tall, weighing 110 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Carter was last seen wearing a light bright green and black jacket and blue jeans. According to the CBI, she has a limp on the right side and typically wears glasses, but she did not have them with her.

She has a cognitive impairment as well as high blood pressure and has not taken her medication recently.
