PUEBLO — The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is seeking information from the public in a suspicious death investigation after a woman's body was found in rural eastern Pueblo County Sunday morning.

The sheriff's office responded to the property in the 54000 block of Highway 50 East around 8 a.m. where they learned the property owner found the woman's body in a field.

The sheriff's office said the autopsy Monday did not "reveal any obvious signs of trauma" and that her body was in the field for a few hours before she was found.

The Pueblo County coroner identified the woman as 46-year-old Darlene Reason, of Pueblo. The sheriff's office said she was homeless and living in Pueblo. Detectives are asking for any information that may help determine how she got to where she was located.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (719) 583-6250 or Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-7867.
