PUEBLO COUNTY — A road that suffered flood damage more than four years ago is finally going to be repaired.
Crews will be repairing Overton Road in northern Pueblo County over the next couple of months.
The county was waiting for federal money to come in to repair the road.
Back in 2015, a major flood flowed through Fountain Creek, making the road crumble.
"Now it is just a real relief to be here and see it come into fruition and actually have a product that will hopefully keep us out of flood danger in the future," Interim Public Works Director David Bembow said.
The county said the hope is that the work is done by next spring.
