PUEBLO — Three small business owners in Pueblo are trying to save prom for Seniors.

The owners of Mister Penguin Tuxedo, Night Magic Entertainment and Studio 127 are organizing a prom for students who had their event canceled because of COVID-19.

My youngest graduated last year from Pueblo West and I just know how important prom is to this age group. It is a milestone, it is a memory, it's something kids look forward to from a very young age. They treasure the memories after," organizer, Julie Aragon said.

For now, the organizers are still in the beginning stages of planning. They hope to have prom no sooner than August 1 at the Pueblo Convention Center.
