PUEBLO — A barber shop in Pueblo gave thanks to veterans in their own unique way on Veterans Day.

The Lucero Family Barber Shop gave out free haircuts to veterans Monday.

The shop owner is part of a military family and said it seems proper to give back to retired military members on this day.

"We love our vets. We appreciate everything they did. It's just a small token to show our appreciation. This is what we do. What better to way to show off our skills to make these people look better," said owner, Jacob Lucero.

Lucero said he wants to make this a yearly tradition.
