PROWERS COUNTY — According to the Prowers County Sheriff, at about 11:30 a.m. the Prowers County Sheriff responded to the 500 block of E Oak Street for a call about a two-year-old was stuck by a van.
Once officers arrived on scene, they found the two-year-old deceased. Cause of death has yet to be determined by a coroner.
The name of the girl has not been released.
Prowers County says that this is an active investigation and no suspects are in custody.

Davis Mortuary owners, former Pueblo County Coroner, in custody
In the latest update from the 10th Judicial District Attorney's Office, the owners of Davis Mortuary, Christopher and Brian Cotter, have been arrested as of Thursday morning. They were booked into the Pueblo County Jail.
