COLORADO SPRINGS — Sunday, Project Cure held a personal protective equipment drive at UCHealth Park.
The drive was to collect masks, gloves, eye protection, and much more to distribute to local hospitals.
"I hear these doctors, they're basically working for their life and protecting others, and there's nothing more I would like to do than help. Everyone's kind of stuck at home right now feeling helpless, and if this is just one little thing I can do then great," Gabbie Brown said.
If you couldn't make it to the donation site today, you can still donate. Items can be dropped off on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management.
