FOUNTAIN — The Fountain Police Department says officers have identified the two suspects involved in a shooting Thursday night at Meltcalf Park, and arrests are pending.
Police also say the shooting is an isolated incident.
A news release from the department says Fountain residents should know this is "not a common occurrence" in city parks, and there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing, and the names of the suspects has not been released.

Officers were called to the park around 7:30 Thursday night after a report of shots fired.
They arrived within a minute but the suspects were gone. Witnesses said they saw two males shooting at each other.
Two gunshot victims, believed to be the men involved, arrived at a Colorado Springs hospital around 8:25 Thursday night.
