PUEBLO — Police said a man was stabbed multiple times in the neck and head, but is expected to survive after a melee at a Pueblo restaurant late Thursday night.

Pueblo PD said it happened just before 11 p.m. at a restaurant off of Highway 50 W., when customers at the store began arguing about "of all things, colleges." Police said a man pulled a knife, causing a man to get his golf clubs from the car and come back in to fight.

That's when police said the two men began swinging chairs at each other inside the restaurant. Police said the man with the golf clubs fell to the floor and was stabbed multiple times. The man with the knife was arrested for first-degree assault. Police said the man with the golf clubs appeared to be the initial aggressor, and will likely face charges as well.
