MANITOU SPRINGS — Police in Manitou Springs are asking for help identifying and locating the suspect in a robbery at the Days Inn, located at 120 Manitou Avenue.
According to a report, around 1 a.m. Friday a man entered the hotel and robbed it with what was described as a black semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect is described as a possibly Hispanic man, between 5'7" and 5'9" tall and weighing around 140 pounds. He had a shaved head with stubble and was wearing a dark blue hoodie with a Colorado emblem and khaki pants. He left in a silver sedan, but witnesses could not identify a license plate number.
