COLORADO SPRINGS — For the fourth year, the Pikes Peak Workforce center held a job fair for people with disabilities.
With 36 stations at the event, some said they were surprised at the number of opportunities available.
"They have a lot of resources for veterans that I had no idea exists. I probably could have had a job awhile ago if I would have come to them first," said Gerardo Silvestre.
Along with Pikes Peak Workforce, the event was sponsored by the Colorado Department of Employment, Springs Utilities, the Independence Center, Rocky Mountain ADA, and the "Y."
