COLORADO SPRINGS — The Pikes Peak Library District's summer reading program is going all-virtual.

This year the Summer Adventure Program is open to kids 18 and younger, and has benefits for all kids looking for some great home activities this summer, while the community continues to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The series will focus on "Read, Imagine, and Move" activities.

"So, just one game. You could pick up your game card at the libraries any of the PPLD library locations, or you could print it out," said Director of Family and Children Services Melody Alvarez.

There have been as many as 20,000 participants in past years.

The adventure officially starts June 1, but you can sign up now at the PPLD website.

The program is presented by Children's Hospital Colorado.
