PUEBLO — Pueblo finally has a permanent homeless shelter.

The Pueblo Rescue Mission held a soft opening Tuesday to make sure anyone in need has a place to sleep and a meal.

"The important thing is that the folks that we want to help that they are coming into a place that is clean, has water, anything any of us would expect," said Executive Director, Kathy Cline.

Works still needs to be done on the shelter but is now safe enough for people to stay there.

There will be a grand opening on Feb. 13th.
