PUEBLO WEST — It's being called the largest wet parade West of the Mississippi River.

Even though the Pueblo West Wet - Dry Parade is two days away on the Fourth of July, people are already claiming their spots.

News 5 was out at the parade route Tuesday and saw that vehicles are already lining up on Joe Martinez Blvd. Some of them have water tanks.

People apparently started picking their spots Monday and the early birds kept arriving Tuesday.

"I know a lot of people get into it, so i just wanted to get our here early to make sure that we get our spots flled in. We have a trailer that we are going to bring on the actual Fourth of July so we are getting our parking saved," said Michael Manfred.

The parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on July 4th. Thousands of people are expected to attend.
