COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police are investigating an accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured on Saturday night.
Around 9:15 p.m. officers received information about a traffic accident at Highway 115 and Star Ranch Road.
According to police, a Ford Focus was traveling westbound on Star Ranch Rd. preparing to make a left hand turn on Highway 115. There was an adult pedestrian crossing Highway 115 and the pedestrian was struck by the Ford Focus.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for serious injuries.
Speed and alcohol for the driver are not suspected to be factors in the accident.
