PUEBLO — A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Pueblo Thursday night, according to the Pueblo Police Department.
PPD said the accident happened at the intersection of Pueblo Boulevard and Ivywood Lane around 5:50 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Authorities shut down both directions of Pueblo Boulevard from Northern Avenue to Surfwood Lane for about three hours.
The department announced Friday morning the pedestrian died as a result of his injuries at the scene.
They have not released his name yet.
