CASCADE, Colo. — Colorado State Patrol has identified the person killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Highway 24 near Cascade.
Troopers responded to the accident at 8:43 p.m. near mile-marker 291.
CSP said a Honda was traveling west on Highway 24 when the 32-year-old pedestrian was crossing. The Honda was in the left lane and hit the pedestrian, identified as Charles Morath, 32, from Colorado Springs.
Troopers said the driver,54-year-old Timothy Splinter, was uninjured and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
