PUEBLO — The first weekend of Pueblo's COVID curfew is done and police say no citations were handed out.

Pueblo PD used the Halloween weekend to warn people to follow the order.

"In addition with voluntary compliance, we wanted to go with education and awareness. You know the thing is, we don't want to write people tickets. We just want them to comply with the rules," Sgt. Franklyn Ortega said.

The curfew goes from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until the morning of November 13.

Essential workers are allowed to be out during the curfew.
