PUEBLO — A small new community has sprouted up in Pueblo West due to COVID-19.
Tamara Harris and her family created, 'Rock City', out of a family project, that has now turned into a community project.
The Harris family created a city of painted rocks on the trail behind Pueblo West High School to help pass the time during the pandemic. Once the word got out, more people wanted to get involved and contribute to 'Rock City'.
"it has just been a overwhelming experience," explained Harris. "We didn't think it would get to this point. It was just an idea and so we ran with it and so it has just been a really neat experience."
There are more than 200 rocks with some dedicated to COVID-19 front -ine workers.
