PUEBLO — The YWCA in Pueblo has a new director.

Maureen White is getting right to work to help with the city's domestic violence issue.

She says some of her goals are to expand the program that is already in place for victims, as well as raise awareness with students.

"We do offer a healthy relationships program to middle and high school aged students, which is more of a prevention piece and us being able to get into the schools to be able to present would be huge for the community," White said.

The four homicides so far in Pueblo this year are all domestic violence related.
