EL PASO COUNTY — As search efforts continue for missing 11 year-old Gannon Stauch, parents in the area say there's a tense and concerned mood in the neighborhood.
"We just want him home, I don't even know him personally and my heart is shattered from all of this," said Jessica Samide, a neighbor.
Saturday morning dozens of families showed up at the entrance of the subdivision, using chalk for kids to express their emotions during this tough time. The event served as a way for kids to have some sort of outlet, as many of them go to the same school as Stauch.
"The kids are going through this just as much as the adults are going through this," said Sul Power, another neighbor at Saturday's event.
