MONUMENT — After being closed for about an hour, northbound I-25 is now open between County Line Road and the Greenland exits after a crash involving multiple vehicles early Friday morning.

The Colorado State Patrol said six to eight vehicles were involved in the accident that closed the interstate around 5:15 a.m.

CSP said there are injuries, but it is not clear how many people are injured or the extent of their injuries.

Drivers were diverted off the interstate to get back on after the Greenland exit.

Road conditions are icy this morning from snow melting and freezing over from last night.

Be cautious as you head out on your commute this morning.
