MANITOU SPRINGS — The City of Manitou Springs is celebrating the first week back to school with a contest to name a new feature.

A baby stegosaurus sculpture now in place next to "Johnny Stegosaurus" in Seven Minute Park needs a name.

It's an effort from the Manitou Arts Council to get people out and to celebrate what the town has to offer.

"This is a chance to come visit Manitou, spend some time outdoors, or even from the comfort of your home, think about what this baby dinosaur could be named, and we're looking for creativity and fun," said Becca Sickbert from the Manitou Springs Creative District.

The person who submits the winning name gets a $250 prize package.

The contest runs through September 11.
