MSPD looking to identify suspect in auto theft case

MANITOU SPRINGS — The Manitou Springs Police Department is looking for help in identifying a suspect in a Criminal Trespass, Auto-Theft case, per a release.

According to MSPD, the suspect went into an unlocked vehicle in Manitou Springs between midnight and 7 a.m. Tuesday and stole, at least, five credit cards.

With the credit cards, the suspect purchased over $1,500 worth of items from the Walmart on 8th Street, the Shell on 8th Street, Everyday Convenience Store on S. Tejon, Walmart.com & BestBuy.com.

The suspect is described to be a white male of average height and weight with brown hair and drives a white Nissan Titan pickup truck with a blue tarp and green tote in the bed.

While shopping, the suspect could be seen wearing a green baseball cap, black facemask, pink button up shirt, blue jeans & black shoes.
