COLORADO SPRINGS — People who use Mountain Metro Transit to get around will soon have more options on weekends.
Starting Sunday, Sept. 29, Mountain Metro will add service on Saturday evening until abut 9:30 p.m. to 13 routes.
Sunday service will also be expanding, with buses running every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes on five routes.
The additional Saturday routes are: Routes 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, and 39.
The Sunday increase frequency includes: Routes 1, 3, 5, 25, and 27.
Mountain Metro says it hopes the changes will improve satisfaction for existing customers, and attract new riders.
