PUEBLO COUNTY — A 74-year-old motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet died in a crash on Colorado 96, according to Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers said Earl Prado was traveling westbound on Highway 96 on his motorcycle when he was making a left-hand curve and traveled off the right side of the road.
He went down a "steep enbankment" and was thrown off his motorcycle, according to CSP. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
State Patrol does not suspect drugs or alcohol are a factor in this crash and the investigation is ongoing.
