PUEBLO — According to the Pueblo County Sheriff's office, a motorcyclist has died in a crash near Airport Industrial Park on Wednesday.
24-year-old Julian Gallegos lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a van near the intersection of Eaton Way and William White Boulevard around 3:30 p.m., per officials.
Pueblo County Sheriff’s Deputies say that Gallegos was driving a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the bike.
Gallegos then crashed into a 2001 Dodge Caravan that was turning on to William White Boulevard.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
Officials believe that speed was a factor in the crash.
