PUEBLO — A 24-year-old motorcyclist died Thursday night after crashing into the back of a vehicle on Highway 50 in Pueblo County, according to Colorado State Patrol.
Troopers said they responded to the crash on Highway 50, one mile east of Purcell Boulevard, around 10:15 p.m.
CSP said Jason Sims, of Colorado Springs, was traveling fast on his motorcycle when he hit the back of a Honda Civic in the same lane.
State Patrol said Sims was pronounced dead at the scene and that he was wearing a helmet.
The crash is still under investigation and speed is a factor.
