Military Appreciation Week is coming up at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is celebrating military personnel with Military Appreciation Week starting Monday, Sept. 9.

Active-duty, veteran and retired military members along with those in their household will get 50% off their admission price. You must have your valid military ID in order to receive the discount.

Other accepted IDs include:

  • A valid/retired military ID
  • A copy of a DD214 form
  • A state's drivers license with a printed veteran indicator or military identifier
  • ID issued by Veterans Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars or American Legion

Dependents are still able to get this discount if a service member is deployed.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Military Appreciation Week running through Sept. 15.
