BLACK FOREST — A popular Memorial Day event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 12th annual MeadowGrass Music Festival has been "paused" for this year.

Organizers said they made the decision to help keep attendees, artists, and vendors safe.

They also said 17 of this year's 22 performers have already committed to coming back for the rescheduled event next year.

Tickets already sold for this year's postponed event will be honored for the 2021 festival.

"This was a hard decision to make, we always look forward to this every Memorial Day weekend but ultimately with everything that's going on around the world, we felt it was in everyone's best interest to delay for a year," said Lee Stroud.

More information is available on the event's Facebook page.
