PUEBLO — A Pueblo group is helping people stay healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 'Masketeers' handed out free masks on Thursday at a drive-through in Pueblo.

The group spent two weeks making masks and learned how to make the masks from the instructional video provided by Governor Polis' staff.

"We wanted to do this because there was a need for masks in town," explained Elizabeth Bustamante, a member of the 'Masketeers'. "No one can find them at stores, so we came up with the idea making the masks and handing them out so that they would be safe."

The group made over 500 mask for the community.

Some of the group memebers are also part of the Pueblo County Democratic Party & the Pueblo Democratic Latino Forum.
