Local golf courses seeing high turnout

COLORADO SPRINGS — Some folks that are looking to get outside right now are filling up our city golf courses.

Colorado Springs has seen good business at both Valley Hi and Patty Jewett courses.

While the attendance has been good on the golf course, some things are a little different.

"We've had to make some modifications to the course. We've had to do some touch points with our carts and some other things but for the most part, we still believe it's a great, safe, social distancing activity," Golf Division Superintendent Pat Gentile said.

Driving ranges and practice green are both open but do require an online reservation and payment.
