COLORADO SPRINGS — Several local Colorado Springs businesses teamed up Saturday to host a July Fourth car show.
The event was hosted by Mods Finishes and drinks were provided by Rocky Mountain Brewery. Cool treats were also provided by a mobile business called A Brain Freeze and More.
Attendance at the event was well under the state guidelines of mass gatherings of 500 people.
"I think it's a good thing you know, I think people are looking for some normalcy right now. We tried to practice our social distancing and encourage people to wear masks, but you know it's at their own discretion. Overall I think the response was good from everybody," Owner of Mod Finishes Ben Ryan said.
The show was free for everyone. Masks were offered for participants who wanted one.
