COLORADO SPRINGS — A lietenant with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office died in a car crash Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office announced 58-year-old Lieutenant Doug Lundstedt unexpectedly passed away in an off-duty traffic crash.
Colorado Springs Police Department also recognized his passing in a tweet.

The sheriff's office said Lundstedt leaves behind his wife Michelle and their daughter Jordan. Our hearts go out to his family during this time.
