COLORADO SPRINGS — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is encouraging owners to renew their pet licenses before the start of the new year.
Starting Jan. 1, the license fee for dogs and cats is going up by five bucks.
Pet licenses are required if you live in Colorado Springs, Monument, Manitou, Fountain, and other parts of El Paso County.
