WELD COUNTY — Authorities on Saturday were investigating a report of a laser being pointed at a medical helicopter, forcing the helicopter to make an emergency landing in Weld County on Friday night.

The Weld County Sheriff's Office was investigating the incident, which reportedly happened along County Road 69, between U.S. 34 and Interstate 76. No injuries were reported.

The pilot landed the helicopter and detained the suspect until sheriff deputies arrived. The sheriff's office said it was still investigating the incident Saturday and more information was not available.
