PUEBLO COUNTY — Colorado Parks and Wildlife's southeast office announced Sunday afternoon that Lake Pueblo State Park had exceeded capacity.
The park also reached capacity over Memorial Day weekend and was closed to new visitors until some of the crowd left. Park officials said it was the first time they had ever had to close due to reaching capacity. The park then reached capacity again the next weekend.
Sunday around 4:30 p.m., CPW said the gated were closed an no one will be allowed to enter unti at least 7 p.m.
