DENVER — On Monday, King Soopers announced that they will be making free COVID-19 testing available for employees based on symptoms and medical need.

“At King Soopers, the safety and health of our associates and customers remains our top priority during this unprecedented time,” said Steve Burnham, president of King Soopers. “Our associates have worked tirelessly to provide communities continued access to fresh, affordable food. We are dedicated to providing support and gratitude to our associates.”

The tests will be a combination of self-administered test kits and the company's public drive-thru testing sites.

The supermarket will also move back to normal hours of operation with the transition from Stay at Home to Safer at Home orders.

The change is to continue to promote social distancing.

Hours will vary by store, but most of our stores operate from 5am-12am.
