EL PASO COUNTY — Crews are searching for answers on what sparked the Blaney Fire that burned 408 acres Monday near Ellicott.
Two buildings were also lost in the fire but thankfully, no one was injured.
Officials said they may never know the exact cause of the fire because of Monday's weather conditions.
They did say they believe the fire began around the intersection of State Highway 94 and Blaney Road.
Fire crews remained at the fire overnight to mop up any remaining hot spots.
